Flight to Stuttgart-Echterdingen Airport (STR / EDDS).
In the airport building follow the green S-train signs and take the S-train line S2, direction Schorndorf, or S3, direction Backnang, to station "Universität". Then continue as described under "By public transport".

From Stuttgart main station or from Stuttgart downtown please follow the green S-train-signs and take
S-train line S1 to Böblingen or Herrenberg,
S-train line S2 to Filderstadt, or
S-train line S3, to Vaihingen or Flughafen/Messe
until you reach station "Universität". Take the exit towards the direction of travel (elevator or escalator). Then follow the red route according to the map.
From direction of Filderstadt, Airport or Herrenberg/Böblingen:
S-train line S1 to Kirchheim, Plochingen, or Esslingen,
S-train line S2 to Schorndorf, or
S-train line S3 to Backnang
until you reach station "Universität". Take the exit in the direction of travel (elevator or escalator). Then follow the red route according to the map.

Route for long-distance traffic
- Motorway A8 or A81 to the "Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart".
- Take the A831 following the signs "Stuttgart / S-Vaihingen".
- Follow motorway A831/B14 for 4,5 km to exit "S-Dachswald / S-Vaih.-Universität".
- Turn to the left into "Universitätsstraße".
- After 200 m turn to the right into "Pfaffenwaldring" (see map on the right side).
- After 400 m turn to the left, follow "Pfaffenwaldring".
- After 300 m turn to the left at the parking lot.
- You are at the rear side of the building Pfaffenwaldring 31.
- Then follow the red route according to the map.
Route from Stuttgart downtown
- Take federal road B14 via Schattenring to exit "S-Dachswald / S-Vaih.-Universität".
- Turn to the right into "Universitätsstraße".
- After 200 m turn to the right into "Pfaffenwaldring" (see map on the right side).
- After 400 m turn to the left, follow "Pfaffenwaldring".
- After 300 m turn to the left at the parking lot.
- You are at the rear side of the building Pfaffenwaldring 31.
- Then follow the red route according to the map.
