Participation in competition track 4: “Foot-mounted IMU”.
We had to process given data from an inertial measurement unit (IMU), which was attached to a pedestrian's shoe, in real time. The goal was the 3D reconstruction of a 2 km long path of the pedestrian inside and outside a large building. The data was provided by the Laboratoire GEOLOC, Université Gustave Eiffel in Nantes.
And we won the competition!
