During its second visit to Stuttgart, the flying observatory SOFIA will stand directly on the apron of the airport Stuttgart-Echterdingen and can be easily seen from the visitor's terrace. On three days of stay there is also the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the aircraft. In addition, the first science flight over Europe takes place.
