Summary

The aim of the BMBF funded project "Gyrolog - Setting up a digital gyroscope collection for historical and didactic research" is to digitize the gyros collection of the University of Stuttgart, its subsidiary collections at the Technical University of Munich and the JKU Linz as well as selected flanking objects to make it accessible to a multidisciplinary scientific use.

The intention of the workshop in the middle of the term of Gyrolog is to draw an interim balance, to review user requirements and usage horizons of the project as well as to discuss the further course of action.
